High Country Early Intervention, Inc., dba Karen A. Fay is a non-profit organization that provides speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy to all ages.

Family Support for Children with Developmental Concerns

This FREE in-home program promotes the overall development for those children who have mild to moderate delays and do not qualify for early intervention services or preschool special education services. When parents are not sure if their child may qualify, we will be happy to perform a free developmental assessment. 

Our program brings together the culture and knowledge of parents with the expertise of our staff to help get children to meet their developmental milestones. Parents & staff, along with consultation by licensed therapists, develop activities to practice during home visits and in-between visits.

By completing a screening on your child, not only will you learn what is typical development at your child’s age, you will also receive a listing of age-appropriate activities that you can do at home to support your child’s development.  Within a week, you will receive a phone call from us to review your child’s results, answer any questions that you have, and learn about free community resources that can help you to support your child’s development.

Al completar una evaluación de su hijo, no solo aprenderá qué es el desarrollo típico a la edad de su hijo, sino que también recibirá una lista de actividades apropiadas para su edad que puede hacer en casa para apoyar el desarrollo de su hijo.  Dentro de una semana, recibirá una llamada telefónica para revisar los resultados de su hijo, responder cualquier pregunta que tenga y conocer los recursos comunitarios gratuitos que pueden ayudarlo a apoyar el desarrollo de su hijo.
